Titan Quest Camera Mod
For Unreal Engine 4 powered games, there's a universal way to add a free camera, add timestop, a hud toggle and re-create the in-game console (which is usually stripped out in released games): The Universal UE4 Unlocker, in short UUU. It comes with its own client exe, UuuClient.exe, and is ready to use. See below what you have to do to get started.
Most settings are for the built-in free camera and are self explanatory. The Game control device allows you to select which device to use for controlling the built-in free camera. By default it's both 'keyboard+mouse' and 'gamepad'. The device that's chosen is blocked by default to send its input to the game (as much as possible, sometimes this is unavoidable).
To change a key binding, click in the textbox and press the key combination you want to use, then click the OK button that appeared next to the textbox when you clicked it. If you changed your mind, just click Cancel. You can use the same key combination for multiple features. This allows you to e.g. use Insert for enabling the free camera, stopping time and hiding the HUD at the same time.
To do useful things like starting the debug camera, in a lot of games you first have to enable the cheats in the game. To do this, type EnableCheats 1 in the console and hit enter. After that, type toggledebugcamera after you've loaded a level. This should give you the ability to move the camera around using your controller and WASD + mouse. This can be a good alternative for when the built-in camera of the UUU isn't available.
To go back to the game, type again toggledebugcamera in the console or simply press cursor UP to go to a previous command. There are many commands to choose from. Not all of them work. E.g. god or fly might say they're activated but chances are they're not doing anything. Commands like fov 50 (to set the FoV to 50 degrees, default is likely 80), pause (to toggle the pause of the game) and a lot of console variables do work.
The UUU has a sophisticated built-in free camera, which you can enable at any time by pressing Insert (or the key binding you've configured). The camera is controlled by the device that you have selected in the Configuration tab. See below for the default controls. You can configure the keyboard shortcuts in the Key bindings tab.
TQCam is a camera mod for Titan Quest. It allows you tocontrol the camera direction by holding down the middle mouse button and movingthe mouse. It also provides adjustment for view distance, field of view as wellas how far you can zoom in and out.
This is the second camera mod I've done. The first was for Torchlight. In both cases there was a preexisting camera mod that people were using. And in both cases I made no effort to get my mod out there for people touse.
As your worlds get bigger, you will need to move the camera around in Layout Mode to get a better view of the arrangement of levels across the world. 1) To pan the camera across the world, hold the right mouse button and move the mouse. 2) To rotate the camera around the world, hold down the middle mouse button and move the mouse left or right. 3) To zoom the camera in and out in Layout mode, roll the mouse wheel up and down.
After a brief loading period, you should be looking at some grassy hills like those pictured below. This is the level we will be editing. As the whole level does not fit onto the screen at once, you will eventually need to move the camera around.
Players take the role of a hero and fight against natural and mythological monsters and evil-doers, all in three acts (four with the TQIT expansion) including Greece, Egypt and Silk Road. The game was conceived by Age of Empires co-creator Brian Sullivan and features rag-doll physics, full lighting effects, day-night cycles, authentic ancient world mythology, modern 3D graphics, unique treasures, fast gameplay, and a world editor for players to rapidly create their own custom worlds, mods, and quests.
As opposed to most games based on mythology, Titan Quest is based on the end of the communication between the Gods and Humanity. The main character (whose name and sex is chosen by the user) begins the quest on a dirt road near a small village named Helos. The town and all of Greece have been overrun by beasts and creatures that are terrorizing the countryside wrecking harvests, burning farms and olive groves, invading villages and cemeteries, etc.
First-time players should make sure they install the official patch to 1.30. This will allow the application of the unofficial fan patch. Other major mods are: the Camera Mod Collection which allows camera rotation and a slightly wider field of view if required; and a major total-conversion mod called Lilith: The Will of Demon which has been very well received by fans.
Please give us the means to adjust the camera angle (not just the zoom in and out)Right now my character seems to sit dead center in the middle of the screen.Games that do not give the user/player an option to adjust this orientation suffer drops from the very first 10 minutes as a result. It is awkward to the eye, neck and it is frustrating that in 2021 game developers still do not give us an option to change the orientation.
@JERLE there was plenty of drama at launch of POE. Not just about the camera angle. So much so that they actually looked into if it was possible to add a feature, but determined it was not feasible with the resources they had at the time. If it was not an issue, they would have never addressed it.
Having more advanced options for camera would be probably not a bad thing, as long as the game is balanced in a way, that it does NOT recommend you to rotate the camera, since than it can become mandatory and annoying.
Insta360 invited visitors to try a stabilization comparison test. They placed the Insta360 One X (reviewed here) and GoPro Hero 7 on a bracket like the handlebars on a bike. The bracket could be turned in any direction (pitch, yaw, roll). Each camera was then linked to monitors to show a live view. Viewers were then invited to move or shake the bracket. The demo showed how much better the One X stabilization is compared to the Hero 7.
Right beside the stability comparison was a large blue recycling bin. Insta360 was inviting anyone to trade in any action camera (GoPro or otherwise) for an Insta360 One X. Not surprisingly, many people took advantage of the offer. And every time someone did, Insta360 would announce it over a speaker. Before the end of the day, the recycling bin was full.
It's now been a couple of months since the game launched, so we went off to the Steam Workshop and Nexus Mods to highlight the best and most interesting mods that can enhance the game. There are new outfits, weapons skins, character tweaks, graphics adjustments, gameplay optimizations, and more. And in the future even better mods will possible, as Square Enix has pledged to release character and level editors, enabling the creation of entirely new levels with custom quests, instanced events, hand-crafted maps, and interactive objects. To demonstrate, they showed a tense Chocobo race, and a whimsical mini-golf game, all made exclusively with the tools that will be given to players for free.
This is a simple mod that edits the land battle camera, sea battle camera, campaign camera, and unit camera. It increases the max and min zoom distance in the battle and campaign maps. It also lowers the unit camera in the mix position and lets you raise it much more.
When it comes to the very best Oxygen Not Included mods, there are three names in particular that really keep cropping up. These three prolific modders are the titans of the ONI Steam Workshop, and their names are (in no order) Ony, Swistak, and Cairath. Each has their own collection of modpacks that you can find by following the links of any of their mods below, so I'd advise you check those out too, because they're really quite fantastic.
Cairath is the third big name in ONI mods, and with must-haves like Bigger Camera Zoom Out, it's clear why. If you've ever enabled Sandbox Mode in an ONI world, you may - like me - have been shocked by just how far you can suddenly zoom the camera out. Why on earth can you not do this in a normal game, you ask? Good question, and one that no longer needs an answer, because Bigger Camera Zoom Out allows you to zoom the camera out ludicrously far in a normal game of Oxygen Not Included, so you can take in your Cycle 1000 mega-base in a single screen.
From Age of Empires co-creator Brian Sullivan and Braveheart writer Randall Wallace comes an innovative action role playing game set in ancient Greece, Egypt and Asia. The Titans have escaped their eternal prison, wreaking havoc upon the earth. The gods seek a hero who can turn the tide in an epic struggle that will determine the fate of both men and gods.
